Helen Morrell has been in private practice in Brighton and Hove since graduating from the Sussex School of Chiropody and Podiatry in 1988. Since then she has carried out extensive postgraduate study in Biomechanics and Gait Analysis including postgraduate training in Sports Podiatry at Manchester Metropolitan University.
She has been the Official Podiatrist to Sussex County Cricket Club since the beginning of the 1999 season and has experience of working with dancers, athletes and sports performers of all levels.

She has a special interest in the assessment of ballet dancers and the development of safer pointe-work practice.

Helen also works with those people who are not so active but who may be affected by degenerative or inflammatory joint conditions, neurological problems, diabetes and traumatic injuries.

She is happy to receive referrals from other health care professionals and sports/dance coaches and to liase with them throughout your rehabilitation, thus ensuring the most satisfactory and complete solution for you. She currently offers nail surgery and biomechanical assessment and treatment at Brighton Podiatry.
